Eligibility for the Union of Progressive Micronations

Micronations that meet the following criteria and are willing to fulfill the outlined requirements are welcome to submit their application for membership in the Union of Progressive Micronations.

• Possess claimed territory
• Possess defined government structure
• Allow free trade with fellow member nations
• Allow the establishment of embassies from member states
• Recognize the legitimacy of other member nations
• Participate in the union's decision-making processes
• Adopt the union's currency (once the currency is released)
• Adopt the union's unified ID and Passport system (once the system is officially released)

Note: Other principles and requirements outlined in the UPM Constitution also apply.
