What are the requirements to join the Union of Progressive Micronations?

To join the Union of Progressive Micronations, you must possess a defined territory and government, and agree to free trade, military cooperation, embassy exchanges, peaceful conduct, mutual recognition, open borders policy, and adoption of the union’s currency, ID & passport system, and policies. These requirements may change.

What will be the benefits of joining the Union of Progressive Micronations?

Becoming a member of the Union of Progressive Micronations will open numerous opportunities, such as benefitting from favorable economic policies, a single currency, revenue-generating initiatives, greater visibility and recognition on the global stage, collaborative environment, and a structured approach to conflict resolution.

What will be the responsibilities of member nations?

Member states of the Union of Progressive Micronations will be expected to utilize the union’s currency, ID and passport system, allow free trade, maintain peaceful conduct, cooperate militarily if needed, assist in the development of policies by voting and discussing, and maintaining open communication.

How does the Union of Progressive Micronations make decisions?

The Union of Progressive Micronations makes decisions through the Delegates Assembly, where each member state appoints a delegate to represent them, voice their concerns, and participate in the decision-making process.

What will happen if a member nation violates the union’s policies?

If a member nation violates any of the Union of Progressive Micronations policies, the issue goes before the Delegate Assembly. All delegates will then discuss the issue and make a formal decision. This could range from a formal warning, imposing sanctions, facilitating mediation for a peaceful solution, suspension for a set period, or expulsion if deemed necessary.

Does the Union of Progressive Micronations have its own currency?

Yes. The Union of Progressive Micronations has established its own currency, the UPM Dollar (UPMD), to facilitate trade. Adoption is expected across member states, with UPM Bank launched to support the adoption and use of the currency across the union.
